Don't be embarrassed about hanging out with a Tanuki, be embarrassed by whatever prank they inevitably play on you! Getting your room completely filled with balloons or discovering that the toilet has been covered in plastic wrap is MUCH more more cringey than being friends with a shapeshifting Japanese raccoon dog!
